How to Plan Your First E-Bike Trip in Europe
If you’re thinking about planning your first ebike trip and want a bit of help keeping it simple, that’s exactly what I do here at Ebike Europe. Planning your first ebike trip doesn’t need to be complicated. You don’t need spreadsheets, military precision, or nerves of steel. What you do need is a simple route, somewhere comfortable to stay, and enough time to actually enjoy it. If you’re overthinking it already, you’re not alone. Most people do. The questions start quickly… where should I go, how far can I ride, what if I get it wrong?
Slow Travel by E-Bike: A More Enjoyable Way to Explore Europe

And you definitely don’t need to suffer your way through it.
Dürnstein, Wachau
The Danube bike path between Passau & Vienna is very popular with cyclists in summer, and one of my favourite areas on the route is the Wachau. This beautiful wine area is also famous for its apricots, and all sorts of products are made from them. I tried to sample a few of them, such as marmalade, cake, strüdel, dumplings, or just fresh off the tree.
Things to do around Lake Bled
This iconic lake is easily recognisable and has been photographed millions of times from all angles. It is easy to see why the lake and the surrounding area so enthral people.
Benedict Bike Path, Bayern, Germany
Benedict Bike Path - Rolling hills, historic towns, undulating farmland, and impressive rivers, this circular tour has a lot packed into it.
Caorle, Veneto, Italy
Caorle in the Veneto area of northern Italy is just an hour east of Venice. A cycling holiday in this area means you can cycle for miles along flat plains, a trip to Venice or just enjoy the beach.
