Welcome to
EBike Europe
Hello, I’m Lindsey. Scotland-born, happily settled in Austria for decades and completely hooked on ebiking. After years of working in mainstream tourism, I now spend my time exploring Europe’s prettiest paths and sharing what I learn along the way. Nothing fancy, nothing technical… just honest tips, real routes and a love of being outdoors.

Graeme Maguire
Lindsey is extremely knowledgeable about ebikes and ebike touring. She is also very generous with her time and her explanations. Her articles, whether tips or bike info, are well laid out and easy to comprehend.I love the photos and commentary on her tours; they really make me want to try one. However, I’m also not sure that I am ready to trade in my 900cc engine for an ebike quite yet.I recommend and trust her advice.Graeme

I love Lindsey’s passion and enthusiasm for ebiking, and her simple desire to share that with the world.
She is so committed to helping every would-be cyclist to overcome any fears, answer any questions, and get excited and inspired for planning an adventure.
She is incredibly customer-focused from her career leading large-scale travel operations; there’s nothing she won’t have thought of in her preparation and planning and trip guidance!
And that career background also means she is incredibly professional and commercially minded when it comes to collaborating on partnership content too.
I thoroughly recommend signing up to engage and work with Lindsey in any way you can.Vicky

I’ve been lucky enough to join Lindsey on a couple of tours through Austria, Italy and Slovenia, and they’ve been some of my favourite holidays. The routes are stunning, the organisation is seamless, and somehow she always knows where the best coffee and cake stops are! Thanks to the e-bikes, I managed to enjoy the scenery without constantly questioning my life choices on every hill but still felt like I was putting in the effort. Our tours found us rubbing up against—and occasionally stepping over (purely for the obligatory photo!)—more international border crossings than I ever imagined on a cycling holiday, along with disused rail tracks through long, long tunnels, dead end dirt tracks (ahem!) as well as mountains, beaches, lakes, rivers, towns and some spectacular vineyards.Don’t expect a David Attenborough-style commentary on the local wildlife though… I still laugh about the decidedly average flora and fauna tours! An egret was confidently described as “a white bird thing”, and on one memorable ride she swore blind she had absolutely no idea we were cycling through a field of cannabis!! It’s safe to say she’s far better at planning epic routes than identifying what’s growing alongside them. The trips are full of those little moments you’ll still be talking about years later. Discovering that a full day in the saddle in the sunshine, followed by exactly two beers in Vienna, results in a very… VERY… giggly evening. Getting ridiculously overexcited (okay, that was mostly me!) about the Danube ferry that turned out to be little more than a boat for four passengers and two bikes. Learning that there’s always room in your panniers for hair straighteners—because why should cycling across Europe mean lowering your standards? And, inevitably, choosing the perfect secluded spot for a wild wee, only for the first people you’ve seen in six hours appear at precisely the wrong moment! We’ve cycled in blistering heat, torrential rain, biblical amounts of flies and winds that were so hot it felt like we were in the Sahara! All of it was magical and I loved every moment! If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves what she does, knows the best routes, and makes every ride feel like an adventure rather than an endurance test, you’re in the best possible hands. You’ll come home with amazing memories, a camera full of border-crossing photos, a healthy addiction to e-biking, and enough inside jokes to keep you laughing long after you’ve unpacked.
What I Do
I ride, I write, and I show people that ebiking doesn’t need to be intimidating. If you enjoy good scenery, good food, and a day out that doesn’t leave you collapsed in a ditch, you’re in the right place. I focus on gentle adventures that feel achievable and fun.
How I Can Help You
Maybe you want ideas for your next holiday. Maybe you’re new to ebiking and not sure where to start. Or maybe you just want a friendly place to get inspired. I share simple planning tips, confidence boosters, route suggestions and stories from the road… the good, the wobbly and everything in between.
