About me

Hi there, fellow ebike enthusiast. Whether you’re an ebike novice or a seasoned pro ready to take your love for ebiking to the next level, you’ve come to the right place.

About me = A Scot in Austria

My name is Lindsey, and I’m a Scot living in the breathtakingly beautiful Austrian Tirol with my husband, Pete. This blog and site are all about sharing my love of ebiking and offering tips, tricks and trail routes to help you fall in love with it too.

A decade ago, Pete suggested we try ebiking together, and without knowing it, completely transformed our lives. I discovered a new passion (more like an obsession) and now spend my summers connecting with nature and exploring Europe on two wheels. This changes from our winters spent on two planks skiing around many well-known ski resorts! Most importantly, ebiking has supported my well-being by giving me an outlet for stress.

What I love most about ebiking is that it enables me to explore further, climb higher and stay in the saddle longer. And the best part? I can chat with my cycling buddies without gasping for air!

About me = Europes Playground

Living in Tirol means we have endless ebiking routes right here. But, looking at what the rest of Europe offered, it became a bigger playground to explore. Over the last few years, I’ve built the confidence to venture beyond our doorstep and have travelled over 25,000 km on my ebike, seeing some of the most beautiful places in Europe.

About me = What makes me smile?

Nothing makes me smile more than planning a day out or a 4-day tour. And once I’m on my bike, I immediately belt out a rendition of Willie Nelson’s ‘On the Road Again’. If I bump into you on the trails, I apologise in advance for my singing voice.

Some people believe ebiking is cheating, but trust me. It’s not. It’s a fantastic way to make cycling accessible to people of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels. It gets you outside, exercising and enjoying nature. Every year, I see more and more ebikes on the roads, tracks and in towns and I couldn’t be happier about it. The rise of eco-friendly tourism means that ebikes are part of the future, and I am thrilled to be a small part of that.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get on our ebikes and explore Europe together.
